Flexible, Respected, Passionate, and Trusted – Dynamic Ability Support is here to help you lead a healthy and active lifestyle. We offer flexible Individual Supports, Support Coordination, Recovery Coaching, and several Group Programs. We form close participant-provider relationships to ensure that we personalise your supports and your support team to your unique and individual needs. If we do not offer what you are seeking, we will connect you with external services that suit your needs.
Individual Supports
We provide NDIS participants with individual supports to help them in their home and in the community. We work closely with you, your family and other service providers to help you build confidence and independence. The individual supports that you engage in will vary depending on your unique needs and goals, however they can include:

Coordination of Supports
Our Support Coordinators help to link and connect NDIS participants with mainstream and NDIS service providers. We will help you to build on the skills you need to understand, implement, and utilise your NDIS participant plan to its full capacity, which will help you to achieve your goals. Our Support Coordination team boast a vast array of skills experience, and our Support Coordination Team Leader will help to match your unique needs to a Support Coordinator within our team.

Psychosocial Recovery Coach
The term ‘recovery’ is used widely throughout the mental health sector. It can have different meanings in different contexts.
The NDIA defines recovery as achieving an optimal state of personal, social and emotional wellbeing, as defined by each individual, whilst living with or recovering from a mental health condition.

Support participants to take more control of their lives and to better manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living

Work collaboratively with participants, their families, carers and other services to design, plan and implement a recovery plan, and assist with the coordination of NDIS and other supports

Social Group Activities
Dynamic Ability Support runs three social groups for NDIS participants in the Newcastle region. Each group provides a welcoming platform for people with disabilities to make friends, socialise and engage in the community.
Dynamic Wellness
Become more active and try new experiences in a social/community setting. We engage in a range of activities including bushwalking, soccer, swimming, touch football, frisbee and much more. Get in touch for our current schedule of group supports.
Expressability
This is an arts-based group promoting emotional and mental growth and features a strong element of sensory exploration. Expressability provides a space for participants to express themselves through art, working either independently or in a team.
9am-12pm Saturday fortnightly
Checkpoint
Checkpoint is a program designed to reduce isolation and screen time while providing a social platform for gamers to connect and engage within the community.
Checkpoint is 1pm – 4pm each Saturday at GVP Esports, Tighes Hill. Additional cost of $5 per hour for entry into GVP.
